Roseanne Star seeks Mediation after Restraining Order Tuesday 16th August 2011 | Sebastian David Lees Roseanne Barr, star of hit TV series ‘Roseanne’ has agreed to pursue mediation to resolve a dispute with her Hawaii neighbours. The TV star (58) has appeared in court recently after she sought a restraining order against her neighbours. District Judge Melvin Fujina has ruled that both parties must return to court on the 14th April.
Ms Barr’s neighbours (Richard and Roree Oehlman) filed a complaint about unauthorised land work being carried out on her property. In return Ms Barr accused the Oehmans of trespassing and harassing her. The Oehmans maintain a firm stance that the work being carried out on her Hawaii property did not have the necessary planning permission or permits.
The TV star said that her biggest concern is her privacy and that this is what is most important to her. She went on to state that any permit violations on her part were a genuine error and that she would work to resolve the issue with the Oehlmans, and that she is hopeful that mediation will resolve the issue.
