Description

Sacramento California State Assembly member Bill Monning (D-Carmel) has introduced Assembly Bill 1, legislation to allow California educators to advance their skills by taking conflict resolution training classes. Assemblymember Monning presented AB 1 this week to the Assembly Education Committee. Currently California teachers have the option to participate in professional growth training to insure theyre up to date on all aspects of their disciplines and classroom techniques. Assemblymember Monning believes one way teachers can continue their professional growth is to take classes in negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution.
